This category is open to any restaurant (whether independent or within a hotel) that provides a traditional Saudi Arabian eating experience to a high standard.


Shortlisted nominees will be asked to provide details of their menus and any special activities or improvement to facilities or services during 2012. The inclusion of photographs or other documentary evidence with measurable results will support the nomination.

Best Casual Dining Restaurant
This category is open to any Saudi Arabian-originated casual dining restaurant that provides a consistently good standard of product and service. The cuisine served is less important than branding, operational standards and quality of the customer experience.

Shortlisted nominates will be asked to provide details of their menus, facilities, special aspects of service with details of any special promotions or improvement to service or facilities during 2012. Photographs and other documentary evidence with measurable results will support the nomination.

Best Fine Dining Restaurant
This category is open to either individual restaurants or those located within luxury hotels. The award will recognize quality of cuisine, superior service levels, overall ambiance and reputation. 


The judges will require shortlisted nominees to provide details of their menus and information on any special promotions or improvements achieved during 2012. Photographs and/or documentary evidence with statistics or measurable results will assist the nomination.

Best Coffee Shop Experience
This category is open to independent coffee shops providing a service which is professional and appealing. Special consideration will be given to enterprises which provide visitors an experience conducive to Saudi culture.


The judges will require shortlisted nominees to provide details of their menu with information of any improvements made during 2012 to their service or facilities. Photographs and documentary evidence with statistics or measurable results will support the nomination.
